The movers came early this morning and took the stuff we were shipping to Nova Scotia. We went with a moving company based out of Halifax called Munden's Moving. They were referred to us by Darryl and Stacey and they were great! The guys were very friendly, the service fast and efficient. Plus they go by square footage, not weight, so the cost was much better than other places I spoke with! Here's their website if you're looking to move anytime soon... http://www.mundensmoving.com/ . Now our apartment is VERY bare. Not really sure what I'm going to do with myself during the days when Steve's at work! Thank goodness there isn't much longer to go! We officially have no tv or bed. We will be sleeping on our futon from now until we leave. Everything else in our place has been sold and it's just a matter of delivering it or having it picked up at the end, just before we go. We've been very lucky to pretty much sell everything. The internet is great! We've been posting on Craigslist and another site for selling stuff and it's worked perfectly! Seriously, how did people move to the other side of the world, before there was internet??? I can't imagine how much harder it would have been! We've used the net for EVERYTHING since we found out we were leaving! From communicating with Steve's new job and sending all required documents to selling our stuff to booking our tickets.
