More Carl visit stuff!

While Carl was here, we went to the Eureka Skydeck, which has an absolutely amazing view of the city. See the tallest building in the photo? That's where we went. The 88th floor. My ears popped on the way up in the elevator.

It's really tall and it's a residential building! Imagine waking up way up there each day!

I'd like to go back at night.

I had to post this picture because I almost fell in the water trying to take it. Seriously, I scraped my knees and everything.

My first time seeing black cockatoos. The picture isn't great but I'm posting it so I remember the first time I saw them in the park!

We went though Albert Park on the way to meet Steve at work. It's a really pretty park.

The black swans are definitely NOT shy!

This guy came right at me. I think he thought I might have food. I snapped this pic right before I jumped away!

We met up with Steve at work and headed to St. Kilda on the tram to see the penguins. I like this picture of the boys. They're actually smiling!

We saw this little guy waiting for his family to return. The penguins spend the day at sea and then come back when it gets dark. We couldn't take photos once it got dark because flash photography is just mean in a penguins face! I actually told a couple of people to stop using their flash and respect the penguins. There's a sign that says no flash photography but tourists don't listen and it really makes me mad!!

The sun was starting to set and I was getting excited to see the little penguins!

The boys were waiting patiently too.
Finally...the sun went down and the penguins came out! They were really adorable! They hang out on the rocks and some even waddle along the boardwalk, right beside you! Did you know that penguins mate for life? I really do love penguins:)
