Steve spoke with the vet at the quarantine today and Jesse doesn't have that, whatever it is they said they found, in his blood. He was tested for it before he left Montreal and it was negative, which normally would have been fine, and enough to go off of, however, because he ended up being shipped late (due to Easter), the time limit on the test had run out and therefore, unfortunately, he had to be re-tested here in Australia. The bad news is that because of this Jesse doesn't get walked until around the 10th of May, when the test comes back. The good news is that it's a 99.9 percent chance that the test will be fine, since he didn't have it in Montreal and he'll still get to come home to us at the same time that we expected (May 19th), which isn't far at all!!! So, although I still worry about his lonely stay in solitude, at least it won't be extended! Phew!

I don't understand why they told you that then. Was there a mix up? Either way, I'm so relieved for you! I'm glad that everything is back on schedule!
Glad to hear that you will be getting jessie when you were suppose too. May 19th will be quite a day for all three of you!!! It will be here you know it. Because for you when you wake up it will be May 1st already where as I am still in April 30th. hahaha
Well that's good news! Still sucks for poor Jesse to not get to be walked. But he'll be a happy pup when he sees you guys and all will be forgotten!
that's a relief! I still don't understand why they have to re test him. It's not fair to keep him locked up for so long...damn Aussies!
was it heart worm? I couldn't imagine a parasite that was so bad they wouldn't let Jesse into the country. How very strange
Never mind, I looked it up from your previous blog, wow thats a rare one!
