Hard to believe a whole year has passed since we last went to a Pandemic birthday party! However, having said that, it seems that so much has happened since the last one! We've got settled here, met lots of new people, made some good friends (I actually first met Rej at the Pandemic party last year and Clo just after), the Purdys moved here, I switched jobs, we've done a couple of trips...yes, lots has happened indeed! It'll be interesting to see where we all are and what's changed by the next one! We had a great time last night. It's always fun to dress up and see everyone dressed up. I found my seventies style dress in a cool retro shop in Melbourne and so, Steve decided to dress to match me. He looked like quite the hottie! The wine flowed freely, which got a little dangerous but made for lots of laughs and lots of fun! Here's a few pics from the evening...

After dinner, we headed to a club on the waterfront called Jade Buddha. I've been wanting to go there forever, as I've heard it's good. Here's Kate on the walk there...
More drinks at the bar. This one is of Vic and Julia. You can see the Story Bridge behind them. There was a great view from the bar! Apparently, they have great martinis too. I wouldn't know, I was only drinking water from dinner on! Those early drinks on an empty belly were dangerous for a lot of us!
