Boating
The Henley sisters.
Safety first.
Justin and Gracie. My sister's dogs love the boat. Too cute.
Justin with his own boat. Man, I remember when Justin was just a wee baby and now he drives a boat!!! I'm getting old.
My sister being a Connie.
Jake enjoying the wind in his hair. They have to watch him. He actually fell out last year!!!
It's a beautiful lake. The homes on the lake were gorgous! Sunday, August 13, 2006

Steve's in NS!
So many pictures to post, so little time! Lots of blogging to do when I get back to Montreal!!! Guess what? My amazing husband surprised me and arrived in NS on Saturday!!! I was bugging him to come and voila! SO excited to see him sitting at my Mom's house when I got there! Not to mention my little baby puppy who also is here and has been loving the ocean more than ever!

Update from Montreal.....
Things I've learned this week...
- If you put your dishes in the dish washer as soon as your done with them, the kitchen stays a lot cleaner......someone told me that once, but I can't remember who...
- While it is fun to just leave your cloths on the floor, when you get up at 3 to take a piss and you trip and almost loose half your teeth on the door knob, you realize its smarter to put the cloths in the hamper.
- The toilet seat does have to go down for half of the bathroom adventures.....
- Don't leave your your cloths in the washer for 2 days after you have washed them....they will stink...and drying them in the dryer wont help....they have to be washed again...
- The dog is a f**king nutcase.
- Stale bread taste like ass.
- Being single sucks....

An update from Nova Scotia
So far so good. It's nice to be back visiting with family. The weather has been good. Much better than what I hear it has been in Montreal. The nice thing about NS is that their idea of high humidity is about 30 degrees with humidex. Nice. We've been to the beach a couple of times and I'm really loving the ocean. Man, you really forget how much you love it. My Mom and I went to Crescent beach yesterday and walked the very long beach right to the end and back. I went swimming and the water was as warm as a lake. Much better than when we went the other day and it was a balmy 12 degrees! I can usually get in the water but I swear my ankles hurt just wading! Anyway, I'm planning to post a few more pics from my day at the beach yesterday soon. To all my friends in Halifax, I'm there next week, so I'll be in touch (Kristi D., can you email me your phone number and we'll meet up?). Katie...you are getting married soooooo soon!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!Ahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh!!!
