The dog days of what's left of summer!

Vegas spent yesterday afternoon chillin' with Jesse at our house. As you can see, they were both quite relaxed. It really is a dog's life!

We had the pleasure of attending Mike and Annie's wedding on Saturday, August 26th. Mike and Annie looked fantastic and everything was truly beautiful! Steve and I had a great time! Thanks for having us share your special day guys! Here's a few pictures...

I had the pleasure of meeting...

...Miss Breagha Isabella Purdy today! She is truly adorable (as you can see by the pictures!) She's doing so well and growing like a weed! She's at 4 pounds already and out of the incubator!!! What a tough little cookie!

Back in Montreal.

Well, that about covers my trip to Nova Scotia. We're back in Montreal and so the job hunt begins. I was very sad to leave NS this trip. I think I'm definitely ready for a change of location, regardless of where that may be. Although, it was nice to get a good night's sleep in my own bed, I wasn't happy about returning to all the French and this city. Oh well. This is a picture of Jesse. He likes to sleep on the floor in the front seat when we take long drives. Probably not the safest thing but he's been doing it since he was a puppy. In this pic, he's yawning and Steve has his feet around his face. We're lucky that Jesse is so good in the car.

On our last night before heading back to Montreal, we had dinner with my old friends, Lor and Kristi and their boys:) I had a great time hanging out with them again! I wish we could see each other more often!!!

Sailing

I got to spend a day sailing while I was in Nova Scotia. What a great time! The weather was beautiful and it happened to be the Mahone Bay Boat Festival so there was lots to see and enjoy! We sailed around Mahone Bay, Lunenburg and Indian Point. A special thanks to Kimberley and Martin for inviting us along! This is Martin's sailboat, the boat we spent the day on.

Lorianne had everyone over for her birthday (it was nice to finally get to celebrate a birthday with you Lor!) It was a little mini high school reunion! It was really nice to see everyone again! The pic below is of Maureen and Laura.
