Around our house...

I had the most relaxing day. I did...nothing. Well, that's not true, I did have a nap. I also started thinking about finally doing a little something around the house. I like it but I feel like it needs a little...something. I'm not sure what though. I am however determined to figure it out!

Here's what it looks like so far...

Bedroom.

Kitchen.

Part of the living room.

Kitchen looking towards the living room space.

Bathroom.

I need a little inspiration and maybe I need to get my sewing machine out. Curtains? Art work? Definitely need to hit the op shops! I'll keep you posted on the progress!

Love the new place!! Did you watch Elsie's video of her place two years ago?? It was fun.

One thing I did...was I found free artwork that at first I didn't love but each day love it all more and more...and I simply printed off 12 of them on regular paper and put them above my desk in 3 rows with four in each row and it looks sooo awesome and inspiring. And as I find new artwork I can add to it...or if I get bored of it I can get rid of it because it's just on paper! I'm gonna do a post about it eventually.

Here's where I got the artwork

Also I LOVE love the big windows in your kitchen and am thinking maybe to NOT put curtains...though I could see why one would want to because you could add some real punch of color! Can't wait to see more!

Your place is so cute!

I love this idea and can't wait to do it myself.

I think that I would put it inside a chunky painted frame, but that's more my style. Lots of possibilities!

Here is a blog that I LOVE. I love her style. She never fails to inspire me.

It might be fun to paint an accent wall in your kitchen. Perhaps the wall with the clock. Then you could add a nice collection of framed art.

I agree with Kristi on the curtains, but it might be fun to some long panels using vibrant fabric.

Home decorating is so fun, but tonnes of work.

Can't wait to see what you do!
