While Carl was here, we went to the Eureka Skydeck, which has an absolutely amazing view of the city. See the tallest building in the photo? That's where we went. The 88th floor. My ears popped on the way up in the elevator.
I had to post this picture because I almost fell in the water trying to take it. Seriously, I scraped my knees and everything.
My first time seeing black cockatoos. The picture isn't great but I'm posting it so I remember the first time I saw them in the park!
This guy came right at me. I think he thought I might have food. I snapped this pic right before I jumped away!
We met up with Steve at work and headed to St. Kilda on the tram to see the penguins. I like this picture of the boys. They're actually smiling!
We saw this little guy waiting for his family to return. The penguins spend the day at sea and then come back when it gets dark. We couldn't take photos once it got dark because flash photography is just mean in a penguins face! I actually told a couple of people to stop using their flash and respect the penguins. There's a sign that says no flash photography but tourists don't listen and it really makes me mad!!

I used to travel in the tram down Elizabeth street and dream of living in the attic of the building that Carl loves! I'll make sure to let him know when I move in ;)
OK, so now I HAVE TO COME BACK to Melbourne to visit with the penguins. Maybe I could bring a sleeping bag and spend the night on the docks at St. Kilda.
Book me in for the air mattress. I'm coming. Soon. Penguin time. And pizza. And bagels. OK, I really liked Melbourne.
Ohh I liked the baby penguin!! I wanna see them too.... :) hehehe
