Now I'm going to have that song in my head all day! This post is in response to Kristi's post. She asked her blog readers what they're loving right now and so, here's my list! Cause why not share your favorite things with each other!:)
One of my very favorite things is when people smile at Jesse when we're out for walks. I figure only good hearted people would take the time to notice a cute dog and smile and by my calculations, there are a lot of good people in the world! That's just nice to know!:)
I love sleeping, but especially if these two turkeys are snuggled in with me!
Oh how I love rice pudding! Thursday night, Steve and I went to a Greek restaurant downtown called Stalactites. The souvlaki pita is to die for but it took me 3 visits to discover that they have rice pudding on the dessert menu! I'm usually too full to even consider dessert but Steve and I both ordered off the children's menu to save room this time. Smart, right? It was SO yummy and I can honestly say I haven't had rice pudding that good since I was at home in Bridgewater, Nova Scotia.

Papaw ointment, made from papaya. I bought a big tube of it yesterday for my poor cracked lips and it's awesome! You can use it for anything from burns to nappy (diaper) rash!
I love being downtown, especially at night. I love crossing the street with herds of people, while cyclists whip past, so close you wonder how they didn't just hit you! (note the blurs in the photo...that's people on their bike). I love the crazy people yelling bad words, the teenagers dressed all in black with jeans that hang down past their knees, their hip hop music blaring from their iphones, people sitting on the concrete selling stuff they made, guitars being played all over for money, etc, etc, etc... It gives me a rush! I even surprise myself at much I love it!
Mostly, I just love being in a bigger city again. Brisbane was a refreshing break from all the hustle and bustle, but it's nice to live somewhere again where there is always something going on and so many restaurants to choose from that it's overwhelming! Loving it.
Yesterday, my friend, Margo and I went to Glicks for some of their famous bagels. Wow, they are yummy! I don't think I've eaten a bagel so fresh and so good since I lived in Montreal. The Jewish lady who served me was a gem and they just throw your choice of bagels in a bag. It's $1 for a flavored bagel and $0.80 for a plain one. It was a delight! I couldn't wait to have breakfast so I could eat one! Loving those bagels.

I love your list!!! And I love the pictures of the hustle and bustle...I got lost in it for a minute and I feel like a little part of me was in the real world again. THANKS!! :)
I love to curl on the couch with a warm blanky while I watch TV :)
