Friday morning is my first 10km race of 2008, its a Easter fun run held in the City. I have a full race calendar this year with 2 half marathons (21 km), a couple of 30+ km trail races in the Blue Mountains and a hand full of 10km races. I'm looking forward to running this winter, it's helped me loose a lot of weight (40 pounds), and how I'm hooked.

do you really find you're addicted to it now? like did you hate it before? because I've been hoping to get addicted to exercise and healthy eating but I so far am addicted to the other side of things.
ReplyDeleteI've always enjoyed it, I run at lunch so its a nice way to break up the day. I got addicted when I started seeing the results. Now its just part of my day, like going to work, or going to the bathroom. I have some good tunes on my ipod, good shoes and a really nice running route, which really helps...

ReplyDeleteI guess living in the warm weather probably helps with a bit of inspiration. I'm already excited for the warm weather to come that I think it's warm enough to go walking at minus 5 and consider that NICE OUT! Ha ha ha! But what about chocolate steve...what about chocolate?

That is the key to any dietary/exercise plan....suffer through it till you see/feel the positive feedback and then you are addicted.
