Am I the only one who finds it weird that at the grocery stores here, eggs are not refrigerated?? They are just stored on the shelves, right beside the juice. Here all this time, I have been thinking that eggs had to be kept in a cool place...?
It's the same in the UK but once you get the eggs home you normally put them in the fridge. Strange. I never even questioned finding eggs in the fridge section when I arrived in Canada.
Really? Who ever knew! I wonder why we refrigerate them...I must find out!
